You can apply for ARPEC year-round. Our next term for newly accepted apprentices begins August 2025. The deadline to apply for that class is April 25, 2025.
When you're ready to apply and have gathered all the required documents you’ll need to submit your application in person at ARPEC, which is located at 13201 NW 45th Ave, Opa-locka, FL 33054. Applications can be submitted between 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Please plan to arrive no later than one hour prior to closing to allow time to complete your application.

Preparation: To get ready, jot down details of your employment history, including the dates for each job you've held, and gather up the required documents. For a complete list of required documents, please visit our Admissions Process page.
Pay the application fee: You will need to pay a non-refundable application processing fee of $60, which is payable by credit card.
Provide documentation: You must provide all necessary documents which our staff will review with you.
Complete your application: You'll fill out the application onsite, so please provide sufficient time. We recommend allocating at least one hour, so plan on arriving no later than 5:00 p.m.
